The roll top closure adds an extra layer of protection and waterproofing.

When the Compack 6 are not mounted on the motorcycle, they can be converted into a stylish sling bag, making it easy to carry on the go. They also have grab handles for added comfort and convenience, making it easy to carry the Compack 6 with one hand. When not in use, the harness can be used to carry additional items like a jerry can or it can be compressed flat and left on the bike.
