The KYT NZ-Race Augusto Fernandez Champion LE Gold helmet is more than just a piece of protective gear; it’s a statement of style and a tribute to victory. Crafted as a limited edition, this helmet is a celebration of Augusto Fernandez’s unique flair and achievements on the racing circuit.
KYT NZ-Race is a full-face helmet in tri-composite material derived from KYT’s experience in the Racing world.
The shapes have been deeply studied, through fluid dynamic software and through repeated sessions in the wind tunnel, as well as on the track with the KYT riders, to achieve the best performance in terms of aerodynamics, ventilation, and comfort, while at the same time enhancing the stylistic aspect characterized, as tradition, by dynamic streamlined shapes.
In particular, the spoiler has been carefully designed to achieve outstanding performance in terms of both aerodynamics and comfort.
The ventilation has also been meticulously optimized to ensure an efficient diffusion of fresh air inside the helmet and to offer, in symbiosis with the fine interior, the outflow of moisture inside the helmet. The visor is in optical class 1 and guarantees a wide peripheral and vertical field of vision, 210°, and 90° respectively; anti-scratch treatment and reference lightness complete top-level equipment suitable for both professional use on the track and for pure fun on the road.
Prices mentioned are inclusive of all taxes, as applicable.
FAQs
How to choose the right size of KYT helmet? All helmet brands have different sizing as compared to others. Please see the size chart for each product and choose size as per the chart.
How should the helmet fit? Your helmet should fit snugly and square on your head. Make sure that it is not tilted too far back or forward on your head. Cheek pads touch, but do not press uncomfortably. Make sure there are no gaps around your forehead or back of the neck. With the straps securely fastened, shake your head slightly from side to side and back & forth. If it moves or feels loose, then it is too big. Also remember that the inner liner will compress a little with use, so a new helmet should fit as tight as you can comfortably wear.
How are KYT helmets as compared to other brands like LS2? KYT has been manufacturing helmets from quite a long time and is also used by riders in Moto2 and MotoGP. KYT mainly scores higher in its shell design which is light weight & aerodynamic.
What if the helmet does not fit me? You can always exchange the product for the size needed. Please connect with our technical team or refer to our size exchange policy.
Do KYT TT-Course helmets come with Pinlock lens? KYT TT-Course helmets come with a pinlock ready visor. You need to buy the Pinlock lens separately.

Helmet Sizing Guide
1. To measure your head size, wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead as shown in the image above. Take several measurements. The largest measurement you take is the measurement to go by.
2. If you do not have a measuring tape, just take a thread or a thin string and measure it in the same way as above. Use a scale to measure the length by placing the string on it.
3. Select the helmet size as per chart closest to the measurement value. Refer size chart for each brand separately as sizing & fit of the helmet may differ from brand to brand.
