The Sena SPIDER ST1, an exclusive mesh intercom equipped headset with a glove-friendly jog-dial control, by Sena. It offers all the premium Sena features & quality that are offered in Sena 50S at a much affordable price. The Sena Spider ST1 offers best of the mesh intercom features at an affordable price.
The SPIDER ST1 features two different Sena Mesh Intercom™ modes: Group Mesh Intercom and Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom. When using Group Mesh, users create a private group that supports up to 24 riders over a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min 6 riders @ 1 mi / 1.6 km intervals). Users are invited into Group Mesh, for added control and privacy.

What is Mesh Intercom?
Mesh Intercom operates as an adaptive and autonomous wireless technology from Sena that is self-organizing, self-healing, and self-optimizing which makes communication with each other as easy as possible. Intercom connections are also now more stable than ever with Sena’s new Mesh Intercom technology. When one the riders in a group goes out of range, the rest of the group remains seamlessly connected while the Mesh technology still intelligently searches for the lost connection and reconnects automatically once they are back in range.
What is the difference between Sena 50S, 30K and Spider series?
The Sena 50 and 30 series operate on Bluetooth as well as Mesh Intercom technology whereas Sena Spider series operates exclusively on Mesh technology. This means that it can connect only with other intercom units which has Mesh technology.
Can I connect Sena Spider with other Sena Bluetooth intercoms?
Its not possible to connect via the Bluetooth intercom mode to any other intercom. Only Mesh intercom pairing is possible.

The range stated in the product description has been tested in optimal conditions. Actual range could change as per environmental factors: 1. City or highway riding 2. Open roads or Hilly areas 3. High voltage power lines & cellular towers
