Can I wear Shima Oslo WP gloves all round the year?
Shima OSLO WP are waterproof gloves intended to be used during rains and winters. It is not recommended for use in summers and dry weather.
Are Shima Oslo WP Gloves really waterproof? If I dip my hand in bucket of water wearing the gloves, will the water go inside the gloves?
Shima OSLO WP are waterproof as per testing done according to CE standards. Also it incorporates the NextDry™ membrane which is a tried and tested for waterproofness. Dipping the hand with gloves in water is not the right way to check, as pressure exists under water and this pressure will force the water to go inside the glove. So its waterproof but not watertight.
Do you have any waterproof gloves with Goretex?
Shima OSLO WP have the tried and tested NextDry™ waterproof membrane which is breathable yet waterproof just like Goretex. The same membrane also features in Shima Inverno WP and Shima Touring Dry WP gloves which have been popular choice of many motorcycle riders.
